First, improve morale. Students will inevitably be afraid of difficulties and should try their best to prevent them from falling apart. Therefore, after each exam and in chatting in peacetime, we use the admission scores of the college entrance examination to let them understand the insurable points in a paper, and also the points that can be taken, so that they can set clear and practical goals.

Secondly, focus on the basic points. From the actual point of view of students, the high-level requirements of "Poetry Appreciation", "Classical Chinese Translation" and "Modern Chinese Reading" in the language papers are not many points, and the possibility of substantial improvement is not great. It's okay for them to score half of the points for the category questions. However, there are twelve points in the whole paper (using idioms, sick sentences and dictation), which are relatively basic things. Students can win by diligent memorization or a little practice. This is very important to the student's total score. Repeatedly emphasized in the usual review and strengthened the training.

Specific method: Fully use 3 to 5 minutes before class, so that students insist on reading an article or a few poems before each Chinese class. If there is time, the teacher should also spot check in time and focus Randomly check those students who don't usually recite.

三、Improve students’ expressive skills and pay close attention to composition teaching.

Composition is the weak point of the ordinary class. In the two classes I attended, many students' essays were either confused in thinking or irregular language, with many typos. According to the statistics of the final exam last semester, only 38 of the nearly 800 students in the school scored 48 on their essays, accounting for 4.8% of the total. Therefore, there is still a lot of room for improvement in essays. Specific method: first grasp the students' composition structure training, which is the foundation. Re-grasp the composition review questions, which is the basis for scoring. Arrange two classes a week, arrange a composition review, conception and writing training of the central language segment, and conduct related comments. At the same time, we must insist on a period of training per week, or proposition, or materials, and ask students to write a paragraph of text.

四、 adhere to the system of "daily practice, weekly test, and monthly test", so that students can master the basics during practice, improve their abilities during the test, and learn to answer questions in a standardized way during the test. This semester has basically entered the review stage. It is easy to do daily practice and weekly testing, or teacher wholesale, or students’ self-approval or mutual approval. Try to diversify the forms of correction, so that students can practice interesting, test and test. It's effective.
