英语听说课教案模板

英语听说课总的来说可以总下面几个步骤展开:1.热身 /导入2.新授4.3.练习5.巩固 6.小结7.布置作业 我们来看人教版英语必修三Unit One Festivals around the world的教学设计:

韩老师IIWarming upShow three pictures of Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Christmas to the students and the students will describe what would they do for the coming Christmas by trying to use the modal verbs they’ve learned in the new class. 二Presentation and practiceReview the modal verbs

Modal verbs like can, may, might, could etc. will be displayed in the middle part of the blackboard in order to review the verbs. Firstly they’ll be asked to describe the difference between these words. For example, depending on the situation and the mood of the sentence--: “Really? You__call the police immediately!”, the students should be ablet to use “must” here to express a strong suggestion. Then the teacher would lead the students to notice the logical relationship between questions and answers. In this way the students would be able to review the verbs.After the verbs have been reviewed, the students should be able to finish exercise practice 1. The teacher should play the role of a guider and explain the meanings which may cause any problem.

2. Apply the modal verbs in sentences

A group discussion is designed for the students to answer questions in practice 2. The questions in practice 2 allows open answers. So the group discussions may offer different answers. The answers are all acceptable as long as the students use correct modal verbs.

3. Comprehensive application

In practice 3, there are several pictures provided in the textbook. The students need to guess what are those on the pictures. The purpose of this part is to ensure the students could use modal verbs freely to describe speculations. Students should work in pairs so that their ideas can be expressed completely. For example, the second picture looks like a 6 lying. So student A could say he thinks the second picture could be a lying 6, and his partner could say: “Maybe, but I think it might be a lying 9.”三SummaryReview the lesson by asking students to tell the different meanings between must, may, can’t could, etc. and the negative answer for the modal verbs.四HomeworkTo write an short article with an imagination of what’s the future going to look like. The purpose is to use modal verbs in composition.
