Play the tape or for the students to listen and find the answer, then lookat the workbook, Exercise 1, go through the questions with the students and makesure they can understand what they mean. Show the students a map of the world, and ask: What map is it? Help thestudents find “China” and “India” on the map. Let the students discuss the twocountries: They are developing countries. They have a large population in theworld.
